Products and Services
McSquared Customs offers both ready-made items and custom, made-to-order products.
Custom orders are created based on information, measurements, text, images, and specifications provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all provided details.
Quotes and Orders
Quotes for custom work are valid for the time period stated in the quote (if no period is stated, 14 days).
Work on custom orders typically begins after:

the quote is accepted, and
-
any required deposit or full payment is received.
Design proofs or mockups, when provided, must be approved by the customer before production continues.
Custom Work and Variations
Because items are handcrafted from natural materials such as wood:

Grain, color, and texture will vary from piece to piece.

Minor variations from photos, samples, or mockups are normal and expected.

Small dimensional tolerances and finish differences may occur.
These natural and handmade variations are not considered defects.
Customer-Provided Content
If you provide logos, images, text, or other content for use in a project, you confirm that:

You own the rights to that content or have permission to use it.

Its use will not violate any copyright, trademark, or other rights of a third party.
You agree to indemnify and hold McSquared Customs harmless from any claims arising from use of customer-provided content.
Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
Full payment or a deposit may be required before work begins on custom items.
Remaining balances (if any) must be paid before the item is shipped or released for pickup.
We reserve the right to cancel orders if payment is not completed.
Production and Lead Times
Estimated production times are provided as guidance, not guarantees.
Lead times may change due to:

order volume
-
material availability
-
complexity of the project
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is governed by our separate Shipping Policy.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the item is delivered to the carrier.
We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by shipping carriers, but we will assist in resolving claims when possible.
Returns and Refunds
Because most items are custom made:

Custom and personalized orders are non-refundable once production has begun.
Ready-made, non-custom items may be eligible for return if:

unused and in original condition, and
-
returned within the stated return window (if offered).
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law.
Cancellations
Custom orders may be cancelled before production begins, subject to possible design or administrative fees.
Once production has started, cancellations may not be possible or may result in partial refunds only, at our discretion.
Use of Photos and Portfolio
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, McSquared Customs may photograph completed work and use those images for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes.
Personal information will not be shared in this context without permission.
Website Use
You agree not to:

We may modify or discontinue parts of the website at any time without notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, McSquared Customs is not liable for:

misuse or improper installation of products after delivery
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service at issue.
Warranties
Handcrafted wood products are intended for normal indoor use unless otherwise specified.
Natural movement of wood due to temperature and humidity is normal and not a defect.
No additional warranties are provided beyond those required by law, unless expressly stated in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Alabama.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
